We will require TWO separate banners for a card sponsorship.

• Banner that appears beneath the card on the viewing page. Standard Banner size 468 x 60 pixels.
  
  
• Banner for bonding to the card. 500 x 60 pixels.
  

Choose your banners carefully.

• Banners CANNOT BE CHANGED once they have been added to cards. If you wish to change your banner a change fee will be incurred.
  
  
• Keep in mind that once a banner is bonded to a card and downloaded it can NEVER be changed.
  
  
• Design your banner to stand the test of time. Do not use time specific material, downloadable cards can bounce around for years, make sure your message is still fresh when it reaches a new viewer.
  
  
• Ensure that the link you supply for your banner DOES NOT CHANGE. We do not change links to banners once a card is operational. Cards which have been downloaded will never change so ensure that you supply a URL that will not change or will have a working redirect.
  If a change to your link is necessary a fee will be levied.

Family Site.

All our cards are family orientated we do not accept any material of advertisers whose sites could not be viewed by a family audience. We reserve the right to refuse any advertisement or Banner material submitted if we think the content is unsuitable.

STANDARD BANNER.

• This will appear beneath the card on the viewing page. It is a standard size banner 468 x 60 pixels.
  
  
• No more than 20K in size.
  
  
• It can include subtle animation. No bright flashing ‘Las Vegas’ like banners. We find these banners are disliked by card viewers and an decrease the viewing rates of your card.
  Most often static banners do better under cards.

DOWNLOADABLE CARD BANNER.

• Most of our cards are 500W x 350H. Photo cards are 500W x 320H (approx). However cards can vary in size depending on the subject material, so your banner may need to be customized to the width of the card. The unsponsored card list will indicate the size of a card only if it varies from our standard card size. Please take note before you create your banner.
  
  
• Banner size 500 X 60 pixels
  
  
• No more than 10K
  
  
• No animation. Animated banners do not do well on downloadable cards. Also even though your banner is small animation adds more size to the downloadable file. We try to keep these as small as possible as viewers do not want to download large files. This means your banner must be the smallest size you can manage. Smaller sizes encourage more downloads.
  
  
• Make sure you include your URL on the banner. Downloadable banners are more like newspaper advertisements; they cannot be clicked on to bring a visitor to your page. You MUST display your url or address prominently on the banner to attract visitors.
  
  
• will not change or will have a constantly working redirect. Visitors will not look for you if the URL you supplied does not work.
  
  
• Remember downloadable banners CANNOT be changed once they have been bonded to a card and sent out. Make sure you banner can stand the test of time.
  
  
• Choose a style that can stand resizing if necessary. If the card you choose to sponsor is not standard size the banner will need to be size changed. If you design your own banners please submit the correct size. If not we can do it for you, but ensure that your design will stand a resize.
  

BANNER TIPS.

• We are not responsible for badly designed and poorly performing banners. Make sure you have designed and tested your banner BEFORE you use it on a greeting card. Since we don't change banners without a fee and bonded - downloaded banners cannot be changed we strongly advise you to make sure you use only your best material that has been tested on a banners system before you submit it for use with a greeting card.
  
  
• Most free banner systems offer statistic on how your banners are performing. Chose your best performing banner to use with a greeting card. Make sure you modify the banner for downloading to include your url. Remember this banner is more like a newspaper advertisement. It cannot be clicked on to take the visitor to your site.
  
  
• We can create banners for you if you wish, but far prefer you to use a banner that you have created and tested before submission. This ensures you the best responses on your card. If you need help with banner creation please contact us.
  

BANNER CHANGES.

We will change banners if you wish but we do not encourage it. If you wish to change your banner a change fee will be incurred.
