Visual Encounters Greeting Cards is a create of Visual Encounters Inc. A website design and critique company with specializations in database consulting and flash design work.

All the cards on this site have been created in our ‘spare’ time we receive no payment for this site or any of our cards.

Our objective was to create fun, interesting and beautiful cards for our visitors to send free of charge. We want to keep this site free to you.
With these limitations we don't add new cards at the same speed as other sites which charge you to send cards.
We do use some paid advertising banners but payment rates for such advertising is now very low (about 10c per thousand banners if you are lucky) so we don't even cover the costs of site hosting. Pop up advertising pays better but we refuse to allow our advertisers to plague you with constant pop ups. This reduces or possible revenue greatly. We do use exit windows to help increase our site visibility. However we only use companies that show you only one window per visit to reduce your annoyance factor.

If you like our flash work or designers are also available for custom card and other flash design work. Our work is generally more visual design rather than complex programmed flash. If you are interested in hiring one of our designers please contact us for a quote.

1. Send cards to all your friends and family. The more people know about us the more we can do.
   
   
2. VOTE for us. Voting ensures we are listed on greeting card sites so that others can find us. The more votes you get the higher you rise in the listing. Please use the voting buttons on the top of every catalog page, or the voting section of the links page to vote for our site.
   Please vote every time you visit as most lists are reset every week and we have to start accumulating votes all over again. Only one vote per day will count. More on voting sites.
